FORCE Technology in Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark is looking for an experienced Chief Naval Architect to join our Tank Team responsible for all our towing tank services.
FORCE Technology’s Business Development Unit (BDU) Maritime, Air & Sound in Lyngby provides services to the global construction and maritime industries. This covers, advanced ship simulations, plus experimental and computational evaluation of buildings, bridges, ships, offshore and offshore wind structures to assess and optimize their performance.
The Tank Team is part of the Department for Hydro and Aerodynamics in the BDU Maritime, Air & Sound. It performs the department’s commercial as well as R&D activities related to towing tank testing like resistance and self-propulsion, seakeeping and maneuvering tests. Further, the team provides consultancy assistance to our clients based on the measured results in connection with design optimization and verification and troubleshooting.
As Chief Naval Architect you will be working with our towing tank projects, and you will engage in sparring with the other members of the team in relation to technical matters and testing procedures. We do operate in accordance with the ITTC procedures and guidelines and take active part in the ITTC work. Finally, you will also be able to influence the department’s future strategy.
